Sponsors of the Offsite Awards
The BBA Supports the best in precision building design and delivery.
The Offsite Awards celebrates outstanding examples of prefabrication and factory-based products and systems that use methods and disciplines that increasingly strive to develop a sustainable, streamlined and cost-effective way to deliver a better-built environment.
Now in its fifth year, Offsite reviews key sectors of the UK construction industry who showcase innovation, celebrate best practice and recognise overall expertise in offsite construction. This is highlighted in landmark projects, influential people and manufacturing excellence in this dynamic arena.
British Board of Agrément (3 times event sponsors) CEO Claire Curtis-Thomas expressed her enthusiasm for the event saying:
She continued, noting that “the BBA is hugely interested in the Offsite Awards. We have a significant number of certifications that support this particular market – it’s an area of enormous innovation and growth.
It’s a subject that attracts international attention and it’s a product that is being reviewed by certification bodies all over the world, because not only is it seen as a potential solution to the housing crisis in the UK, but also globally.”
It’s clear that the awards have become increasingly more popular with industry experts over the years.
“There is a great deal of government interest in this subject now – far more than we’ve ever seen in the past. This is encouraging people to come into this market – we’re glad to see that and we’re glad to help them in any way that we can. We realise the potential of their products.”
This year the BBA is once again sponsoring the Offsite Awards, with CEO Claire Curtis-Thomas sitting on the judging panel for the first time.
We look forward to seeing who will stand out within this field and wish all the nomination’s the very best of luck.
