If you are selling within the UK and wish to update your CE Marking to UKCA Marking, you can use this existing report.
If your product changes in the future and you wish to continue selling on the UK Market, you will need to have the product reassessed by an Approved Body, such as the BBA.
Such reports will not be accepted by the EU in support of CE marking and, unless a further agreement is reached, retesting will be necessary.
Building Regulations and guidance have been amended across the UK several times during 2022, mainly covering fire safety, energy economy and ventilation.
BBA Certificates are to be updated to allow for these new requirements, but users should be aware that this will take some time and that, in the meantime, the Regulations quoted and the associated comments may not be valid. This does not affect the performance characteristics quoted in Certificates and potential users should ensure that these parameters enable a product to satisfy the requirements of the current Regulations.
