Stormking, the GRP building product specialists, has achieved BBA Approval for its brick slip finish SmartStack false chimneys. This new range joins the existing SmartStack GRP chimneys with brick or render effect finishes (Cert No. 11/4879).
To gain approval both ranges had to undergo a series of rigorous testing to check their durability, weathertightness and behaviour in relation to fire. In addition, the BBA carried out on-site evaluations, inspections of production and checked compliance with relevant building regulations.
Supplied with or without pots and in a variety of standard sizes they are available for mid-ridge, gable end and rafter situations and are supplied with an integral gutter. Bespoke options are available to order.
They come complete with apron and abutment flashings as an integral part of the chimney plinth box and can be simply hoisted into position, saving on installation times.
